Effect: A Volunteer mentally selects any card and
then is given a deck of cards & asked to follow the instructions of the
magician. After making the requested moves the volunteer returns the deck to
the magician who after simply scanning the faces of the cards, names the
card that up until that moment was just a figment of the volunteer's
imagination. To make the effect even more mind-boggling the deck is now
turned face up and shown to be a blank faced deck!

Effect: A volunteer is asked to touch
any card in the deck as you fan them. The selected card is immediately
lifted from the deck & set on the table. The deck is then turned over &
shown to be a blue backed deck. The selected card is turned over & shown to
be the only red card in the deck & on the back of the card is written "I
knew you would pick the (whatever the name of the card is)"

spectator
Their word is revealed and it is a perfect match to the
word you wrote on the page
